North Beach Custom Home

Go2 Homes built this pod style custom home in 2016 and it has just been featured in the February edition of Inside Out Magazine. This home has been one of our favourite projects! Our client Malvina Stone is a talented interior designer and came up with the initial design for this unique and inspiring home.

Go2 Homes worked in conjunction with our client, and Blue Frontier Studios, to finalize the design of this pod style home. We worked in close coordination with our Structural Engineer, Builder Surveyor, Energy Efficiency Assessor and the City of Stirling to ensure an exceptionally fast on-site build time of fewer than 10 weeks.

The works of this pod style custom home included extensive site works for multiple levels of the building area, structural timber sub-floor and framework, eco ply cladding, extensive timber decking, electrical, hydraulics, aluminum doors and windows, kitchen and bathroom joinery and outdoor shower area.

Each pod opens up onto a centralised deck and creates a seamless flow from inside to out. With the afternoon sun beaming in and glimpses of stunning North Beach, it has a magical atmosphere. This home really embodies our clients dreams of creating a ‘Bali inspired holiday feel’, and fits perfectly with their lifestyle.

“We have found Go2 Homes to be a pleasure to deal with. Our project came in on time and on budget. The tradesmen were all of the highest standard and the site was always kept clean. Rorey kept the project on track as our time constraints were challenging. Even though our home was not a standard build the process was completed without any drama or hiccups We love our new home. Thank you.” –  Malvina and Malcolm Stone
