We specialize in custom home renovations and extensions, so we encourage our clients to be involved in the design process from the initial design brief, through to finishes selections. As part of our process, we provide custom concept designs and advice on buildability. This not only ensures that your requirements can be met, but also enables us to align the preliminary budget estimate with your budget. You will find more details under Go2 Homes Process

This will depend on the stage you are at with your drawings and design. If you do not have any drawings available we have options available to get you through the concept design stage all the way through to Council submission in a seamless, efficient and ‘turn-key’ approach. There will usually be costs along the way before contracts are signed, but they are all costs that would have been incurred and therefore included in the contract price (e.g. Building Inspection, Soil Testing, Feature and Contour Survey, Title Search, Structural Engineering assessment, Concept Designs, Development Approvals etc.). As you will be paying these costs along the way, (getting something back in return at each step) you will not be paying for it again at contract stage. All our clients receive the option of a professionally accredited design and colour consultant to assist in all design aspects and colour selections for your new home. This service is available before you proceed to construction drawings and when completing your selections after contracts have been signed. Please refer to Go2 Homes Process for more information.

Your quoted price will only change if an allowance has been made for an item in the contract and you go over that allowance. Also, any selection item that you upgrade when finalising your selections may incur an extra cost. You will always be notified of an increase and we will never proceed with any changes that incur extra costs without your electronic approval via our On-line project management system. Each renovation and extension project is customized and unique, and the construction period will be defined in the Building Contract. Generally speaking, renovations can be quite quick, from 4-6 weeks up to 32 weeks for more complex, larger extensions and renovations. The time frame allowance required to complete your home to the desired level you would expect and the quality that we are renowned for will be detailed in the works program which can be monitored via our On-line project management system. There will always be flexibility given to our clients to engage one or two tradespersons or suppliers of their choice. If we are made aware before construction commences and that each tradesperson is fully licensed and insured and adheres to the Go2 Homes Safety Policy and Procedures, we are more than happy for you to use some of your own trades/suppliers.

You will communicate directly with one of our 3 x Registered Builders during the design phase, through construction and final handover. You will also meet with certain trades and suppliers before construction commences to determine and finalize selections and design layouts such preliminary plans for your kitchen and electrical. You will have full access to your project's information and communicate through our on-line project management system throughout the entire building process. Watch Video Demo

We use cutting edge technology that keeps you up to date with your construction schedule every step of the way. Our on-line project management system allows you access to all your job information including your very own calendar which will inform you of what is happening on each day of construction. We all change our minds on things from time to time, and the very nature of renovating and extending, working within an existing building! We understand the need for flexibility during the construction phase to ensure you have the home of your dreams. At any stage you are welcome to make changes, sometimes it affects the timeframe, but we will let you know. We will make sure you are informed on any potential delays and we will ensure the changes don’t affect the structural integrity of your home. Watch Video Demo

Yes! We work within homes where families are living and we are very mindful there is often an integration with your home life and the work being done on site. You are welcome to come into the designated work areas if you are accompanied by a representative from Go2 Homes. We adhere to a strict safety policy with all our tradespeople, suppliers and visitors to site. It is imperative to maintain well isolated and safe workspace through the course of construction.
