Go2 Homes completed the build of a self-contained 1 bedroom studio. The construction drawings for the works were developed by Go2 Homes from supplied concept plans and included extensive acoustic treatment specifications of the building due to its proximity to Perth Airport. To prepare the site, clean fill was brought in due to the reactive soils of the building area. The studio included: a polished coloured concrete floor slab, structural timber framework, cedar cladding, extensive timber decking, electrical, hydraulics, aluminium doors and windows, kitchen and bathroom joinery and outdoor shower area.
Go2 Homes worked in conjunction with our client, and Blue Frontier Studios, to finalize the design of this pod style home. We worked in close coordination with our Structural Engineer, Builder Surveyor, Energy Efficiency Assessor and the City of Stirling to ensure an exceptionally fast on-site build time of fewer than 10 weeks. The works included extensive site works for multiple levels of the building area, structural timber sub-floor and framework, eco play cladding, extensive timber decking, electrical, hydraulics, aluminium doors and windows, kitchen and bathroom joinery and outdoor shower area. This home has a real ‘holiday home’ feel to it, which fits perfectly with our client’s lifestyle.
Go2 Homes completed the Design and Construction of a complete kitchen renovation. After a couple of meetings and understanding our clients brief, a detailed concept design was created, putting functionality and storage needs alongside a beachy aesthetic.The works were all procured and prefabricated off site, minimizing time on site to less than 2 weeks.
Go2 Homes completed this front yard renovation while a busy young family occupied their home. Our clients home is the front house of a survey strata and the brief was to enclose the front yard to allow their growing young family to safely enjoy the available space. The works involved excavations, retaining wall and a tiered brick fence along three sides of the property. An entry gate to match the fence, stepped paving and some landscaping finished this project, ready for spring outdoors.
Go2 Homes completed the Design and Construction of a 120m2 extension, re-roof, and renovation. Our clients brief was to remediate parts of their existing home and ‘bring the outside inside’ and integrate with the house. The design of this extension and renovation also involved retrospective planning approval with the local council and a detailed inspection to investigate building compliance to ensure elements of the existing house meet current Building Codes. The works included: a re-survey, boundary parapet wall, extensive structural steel for openings and wind bracing, double brick construction, rendering, blinding slab, structural tie-downs, remedial works due to latent termite activity, tongue and groove jarrah flooring, external decking and paving, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, make good of ceilings and corners, bi-fold doors, rear veranda, outdoor shower area, pool house, limestone blockwork and re-roof of the existing.
